Summer Has Arrived in Mountains

Summer has arrived in the mountains and along with it come broad and varied opportunities for enjoying all that Breckenridge and Summit County have to offer.

Everyone knows that Breckenridge is known for the beautiful summer weather, hiking, biking, boating, paddle boarding, kayaking, white water rafting and more. Here are a couple of out of the box ideas for summer fun!

New in summer 2021 is the Breck Music Air Stage. This Airstream Stage will travel throughout Summit County during the summer months.  A totally new concept that will surely add to the fun of summer. 

Bike in Movie at Breck Create is set beneath a spectacular view of the 10-Mile Range, films are shown on the AirStage’s 5×8 foot LED wall and are preceded by creative projects and maintenance activities for bike enthusiasts.

Drive In Movies at the Colorado Mountain College!! Big hit last summer and back for another.

If painting is your thing, renowned local artist, Amy Evans, offers a variety of workshops to choose from. Also enjoy a paint under the stars date night offered by Breck Create.

With an extensive and varied calendar, Breck Create will provide you with an extensive schedule of interesting events and classes being offered throughout the summer season.

If you are in town on July 16 enjoy the fundraising event of the year called Gold Fest. This will make the Country Boy Mine “the” place to be. Enjoy an Evening of Music at the Mine Featuring Pat Green. VIP tickets will enable you to come an hour earlier and enjoy hearing a listening session Breck Music Festival Artistic Director, Steven Shick. 

The National Repertory Music offers two full orchestra performances each week at Breckenridge’s Riverwalk from Late June through mid-August.  

Frisco Marina is open offering paddle boarding, kayaking, sailing, fishing boats, camping, a new, enlarged beach. The Frisco Rowing Center at the Frisco Marina is offering lessons to beginners as well as rental boats to visitors.

You might be truly happy sitting on the newly enlarged beach at the Frisco Marina Beach and reading a book.

The Dillon Ampitheater has tons of events! Enjoy a magnificent view of Lake Dillon which offers beautiful sunsets as well as delightful music!
